Giving Thanks

happy thanksgiving

I hope that you and your family are doing what it is that you like to do for this special time of giving thanks. And I hope that you take some time to really think about all that we ALL have to be thankful for! We have so many blessings that we over look and take for granted each day.

For our family, Thanksgiving Day will be spent cooking way too much yummy food, watching the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade, taking naps, and waking up only to eat MORE food and watch MORE holiday movies!! And most importantly giving thanks to God for all that He has blessed us with.

Whatever it is that you and your friends or family do, I hope that you take time to enjoy it. Make new memories and start some new traditions. After all, each tradition was started by someone just like us.. deciding to try something new and fun with the ones they love!

Also, remember that holidays don’t have to be perfect. Don’t add any unnecessary stress to your plate. The dishes will keep piling up, because you are blessed with wonderful food to eat! The floor will be dirty because the children are happily playing and making memories. (I am a firm believer that a messy house is a happy home by the way… no Instagram perfect photo shoot is a fun holiday!) The FAMILY PHOTO.. may have one person looking at the pie on the counter, and one cousin who is poking someone and making them cry, and that Grandpa is giving you the stink eye because he really just wants to go sit in his recliner. But I challenge you to step back and take a look at that “mess” of a family, friends, co-workers, or neighbors you have, and realize that God gave them to you for a purpose!

Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever.
1 Chronicles 16:34

I also want to tell you all that I am thankful for you! I am thankful for each and every one of you who cheers me along and supports me along this journey! Thank you so much for being my cheerleaders!

Happy Thanksgiving.

Sincerely,
Beth @ Cedars & Grace Co.

Thankful Cards

We made it y’all! Its finally Friday! Congratulations for keeping up the good work.. for not quitting that job, with that boss (you know the one), for being nice to the drive-thru worker who kept getting your lunch order wrong over and over, and for just showing kindness to those around you (even when you aren’t feeling kind).

Back to business.. I wanted to share these little Thankful cards with you. They are available in my shop as printed versions on thick craft paper, but I also wanted to make them available to you for self printing! Below is what mine look like when printed and cut as 5x7s.

So what I do with these, is open up the file below, and print 4 to a page (which gives you roughly 5×7 prints). This will look best on a card stock so it isn’t flimsy. I hope you and your family love these as much as I do! If you are on Instagram, I’d LOVE for you to tag me in a photo once you have them made! It makes me happy to see how things like this are used by others.

I wish you all a wonderful Fall weekend!

Fall – Season of Change

Happy October friends! I am excited to say that this Fall (the beautiful season of change) has been a great one so far for Cedars & Grace Co.  There are so many things that I want to share with you.

First of all… Cedars & Grace Co. signs are now in the Main Street Market Antique and Vintage Goods store on Main Street in Lindale, Texas! So if you are ever in the area, come check it out! Feel free to let me know if you are planning ahead, and I will even be glad to meet you there!! Look for the beautiful white building in the photo below.

And secondly, the most recent adventure and shop listing.. is our Cedars & Grace Co. faux fireplace!! This has the perfect amount of DIY for a beginner. I will cut, sand and stain the wood for the fireplace for you. Wrap it all up with easy to follow directions for assembly, and ship it right to your front door!! All you have to do it take it out of the box, arrange the pieces on the floor using the directions, secure the wood together and attach to the wall! And there you have it… instant sweater weather/fall decor goodness!

Also, I’ve attached some pictures to show you how the first one turned out! If you want to know more about ordering, just visit my little shop! Link in menu above.

I also want to give a huge thank you to all of those who support and cheer me on! There’s no way I could be doing this without you all!

Sincerely,
Beth @ Cedars & Grace Co.
